V International Scientific and Practical Conference Modeling and knowledge-based information technologies in technical and socio-economic sciences

V International Scientific and Practical Conference

“Modeling and knowledge-based information technologies in technical and

socio-economic sciences”

April 14-16, 2021

The conference is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of N.V. Tolstoguzov and
the 40th anniversary of the Department of Applied Information Technologies and Programming

The conference is held within the framework of the Year of Germany in Russia 2020/2021

The scientific team organizing this conference held four similar conferences titled “Modeling, software and high technology in metallurgy” in 2001, 2006, 2011, 2016 and hopes to continue the tradition of organizing such conferences with a frequency of 5 years. The pool of participants of these conferences has been formed and they contribute to the exchange of scientific information in this developing field of research.

SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM

The conference is aimed at the development, distribution and practical application of the following fields of scientific knowledge:

- Software and tools of mathematical modeling and identification;

- Modeling and knowledge-based technologies in metallurgy, mining and processing of raw materials and heat power engineering;

- Information technologies in socio-economic systems.

The conference program includes a plenary session and four breakout sessions.

The topics of the plenary session cover problematic issues of the methodology and practice of mathematical modeling, the development of the most interesting models, knowledge-based technologies, as well as IT systems in the social environment and in business.

The topic of section No. 1 “Methods and software and instrumental systems of mathematical modeling and identification” is devoted to the improvement and dissemination of methods of mathematical and physical modeling based on fundamental laws and experimental statistical approaches, algorithms for the implementation of simulation modeling, the creation of software and instrumental systems for structural modeling, models development and object identification using neural network modeling.

The topic of section No. 2 “Modeling and high-tech information technologies in metallurgy, raw materials extraction and processing” is aimed at the exchange of information on the creation of specific models which are the basis of knowledge-based information technologies in metallurgy, mining and processing of raw materials, including principles of the theory of self-organization (synergetics) and non-equilibrium thermodynamics.

The topic of section No. 3 “Modeling of heat and power processes” is devoted to the improvement and practical application of models of heat and mass transfer in metallurgical units and devices for the reuse of energy of technological units, design of energy-metallurgical complexes, development of technologies for the complex processing of industrial waste.

The topic of section 4 “Information technologies in socio-economic systems” is devoted to the development and implementation of information systems and management technologies, information protection in business, medicine and public amenity.

The conference will be attended by scientists from Russia, Kazakhstan, Canada, Germany, the United Arab Emirates and Poland.
