AND UTILIZATION OF MINERAL RESOURCES

within the framework of the XXIV international specialized exhibition of coal mining technologies “Coal of Russia and Mining”

Russia, Novokuznetsk June 6-9, 2017

Since 1995 Siberian State Industrial University within the framework of international specialized exhibition of mining technologies “Russian Coal and Mining” has been holding an annual scientific conference “Knowledge-based Technologies in Development and Utilization of Mineral Resources” within the priority direction of development of science, technologies and technology in the Russian Federation “Rational utilization of mineral resources”. The conference program targets the development of critical technologies of exploration, development and mining of deposits, searches for original science-based dirctions of mining industry diversification, providing complex extraction of mineral resources, their deep processing and utilization.

Purposes of the conference:

- development and implementation of science-based technologies for mining of mineral resources;

- development of innovative approaches to creation of high performance equipment for mining industry;

- development of automated control systems, improvement of electro-technical, energy-saving systems of mining industry;

- development of complex extraction technologies and deep processing of mineral resources;

- improvement of industrial and environmental safety at the mining and processing enterprises;

- exchange of domestic and foreign experience in the field of research and development of projects, technologies and equipment.

According to the results of the conference more than 20 proceedings have been published. The published papers are widely used by engineering companies and technical departments of mines for the development of construction and reconstruction projects, charts of workings, by universities for training mining engineers, preparation of term papers and diploma projects, master’s and PhD theses.

Every year interest in the conference and its proceedings is growing on the part of the Russian and foreign scientists, specialists from the mining enterprises, engineering companies, managers of the mining and machine manufacturing companies.

Papers will be published on-line in the annual journal “Knowledge-based Technologies in Development and Utilization of Mineral Resources”. The journal has ISSN, UDC and is included in the databases of the Russian Science Citation Index, eLibrary.ru.

Articles selected by the Editorial Board will be published in the foreign scientific e-journal “IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science” indexed in Scopus.

Fees

There is no fee for participation in the conference and publication of the paper in the Journal “Knowledge-based Technologies in Development and Utilization of Mineral Resources”.
